Why water is precious? Why should we save it?
Do you know that ........
97% of water on earth is salt water (which we can't use)
2% of fresh water is frozen in lakes, glaciers and ice-bergs (again we can't use it)
only less than 1% (<1%) of earth's water is the water that animals and humans can drink..........
As per the newspaper article , few days before, our country would be the most thirsty country in the world. Isn't really shaking........can you imagine your life without water ????????????????? :(
If your answer is no..................................we should start taking steps to attract water and to save the available one.............. Some ways to save the water are......................
* Always close the taps tightly after use.
* Reduce the flow of water in taps.
* Do recycling of water ................Connect your all the waste water pipes with the open land (except the urinals and toilets) ; so that it can go back and get mixed with the ground water.
* Collect the water coming out from the waste pipe of your RO water filter. This water can be used for any other work, than drinking.
* Do not flush your toilets , unnecessarily.
* Wash your utensils and clothes with full loads.
* Make provision for rain water harvesting .
* You can use your last wash water for watering the plants or washing the floors.
* Plant the trees which attract the water.
* Always water the open land, even if it doesn't have the plants.
* Try to have some open land compulsorily in your house, so that it can absorb the rain water.
These are the ways that we can use in our daily life without much any expense.
Every drop counts.........so we should try to save every drop of water....so that our next generation can also live with water........................................
